Carecore Health Center is a state-of-the-art medical clinic in Troy, Michigan. Board-certified family medicine specialist Gheith Yousif, MD, and the team provide comprehensive care for children and adults of all ages.
With an in-house laboratory and a team of lab professionals, Carecore Health Center can perform all blood work and most testing services onsite. The team offers pregnancy tests, rapid COVID tests including rapid PCR testing in 30 minutes, A1C tests for diabetes, and testing for acute illnesses like Flu, mono and strep throat.
Dr. Yousif emphasizes the importance of preventive care and disease management. After graduating from Mosul Medical College in Iraq, he completed his family medicine residency at the University of Toledo (UToledo) in Ohio. Dr. Yousif’s specialized training gives him immense knowledge on health maintenance.
Dr. Yousif also served as an associate professor of Medicine for medical students related to Ohio State University (OSU) and for family medicine residents at Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center Hospital in Lima, Ohio, from 2019-2021.
At Carecore Health Center, Dr. Yousif care for his patients started 11/08/2021 and the team to perform comprehensive physical exams, including Sports physical, DOT exams, Monoclonal infusion for COVID patients, rapid COVID testing including PCR, urgent care needs including minor surgeries and laceration repair, the team welcomes walk-in visits.
Carecore Health Center is fully equipped to care for all types of illnesses and injuries. In addition to an onsite lab, the practice offers in-house X-ray imaging and electrocardiogram (EKG) testing with Spirometry test for pulmonary diseases.
